About

Soft skills are those sought after behaviours and characteristics that people demonstrate unconsciously and routinely in their work, interactions with others.
These behaviours differ from hard skills in as much as they are learned through practice and experience in ones' life. We begin acquiring them as children, building on them as young adults and continuing development and fine-tuning throughout our adult life in the form of practical application.
As children, we develop friendships and learn to share, thus the beginning development of loyalty and teamwork. These skills can be carried forward into the workplace. Those adults lacking soft skills require training to enhance workplace effectiveness. Soft skills are comprised of many attributes including receptive and influential behaviours, which encompass numerous traits and attitudes. Individuals that are receptive and influential are able to communicate
using active listening, awareness of non-verbal communication, oral communication, persuasiveness, problem-solving, decision-making, time and stress management, responsibility and a cognitive approach to the exchange.
Why Are They Critical to Employee Success at Work?
With today's competitive job market, employers want to hire individuals who transcend the line of competency to that of potential. They are willing to train employees in the skills required to do the job provided they have the soft skills to sustain and enhance the individual’s development.
Moreover, Employers require employees who are dependable, resourceful, ethical, self-directed and demonstrate effective communication for delivery of workplace products. The result is a collaborative, productive, customer-focused workplace that spends less time resolving problems and more time breaking records.
In order to achieve this, we work with,
Organizations: in facilitating employees learn new skills and knowledge especially in areas of Intra & Interpersonal skills so that they perform their work effectively and solve issues related to human relations, productivity, etc. that impact the organization's growth and profits.
Educational institutions: with students, faculty, etc. especially with students in imparting the required soft skills that they need to have for getting placed in the campus recruitment and job interviews and the skills they need to have in order to sustain in their first job. We also work with faculty/teachers in empowering them with teaching skills and becoming better role models for the students.
Individuals in the general public: Professionals, Business people, Housewives, Students, etc. who are going through specific problems related to their work or family life, or feel that their skills and talents are underutilized in what they do, we help create a picture of who you are, how you can create both a Job and Life that you love, enabling you to become achievers in your field of activity.
